This is NOT a genuine HP belt. The original belt has side ribs along half the belt and long grooves running parallel along the other half. These tabs and grooves fit into the printer rollers. The belt they sell here only has ribs all over the belt. The belt does NOT have grooves like the belt that came with your printer that you are trying to replace with this aftermarket copy. To make up for the missing grooves in the belt, you will also be given a plastic pulley to use in place of the ones currently on your car. Why would I spend 2+ hours changing the belt and then spend another hour on the secret covert diagnostic tests you need to run before HP lets your machine run again, only to find the belt isn't working? Or, even worse, it looks like it will work but actually causes the printer to turn off just long enough to print blurry images. Can I just save €40 like this? No thank you! I will order an OEM belt directly from HP and make sure I get it right the first time!
