1 month ago I started my architecture course in college, so I needed a light, handy laptop for content creation. After looking for this laptop for a month and comparing its features and price, it was the best option on paper, so I bought it. I bought this one in the photo from B&H, a retailer of MSI, as did Revain. When I first held it in my hands, the first impression was that it is very light, the gold and white version is a beautiful notebook BUT it had many problems with the manufacturer, I couldn't even believe it. The same day I unpacked the laptop and started testing, after 2 hours the CPU fan was making a terrible rattling noise + the battery was draining too quickly without even draining it, just opened YouTube and refreshed windows. In 10 minutes it was discharged from 100% to 80%. It's just not right. I contacted P&H the next day and they were kind enough to immediately send me a prepaid shipping label to exchange for the same model, but "hopefully" no problem. After 2 weeks a new one arrived (02/13/20). Let me tell you that with that I lost all my hopes on MSI. The replacement was even worse. Now I'm experiencing terrible screen flickering and the battery continues to drain surprisingly quickly. This is unacceptable, I feel completely offended by MSI as a customer. This is a very expensive car, how come with all these problems? . It's totally useless and I won't even order an RMA process because MSI expects you to pay to ship a faulty laptop which is their fault and by the way I live in Florida and will be shipping this laptop to their repair center in California . Shippers charge me $60-$80 without insurance of value of goods or anything like that. + What if I have to send it back a second time because it came back defective like it just happened to me? You are completely insane, that is complete disrespect. I will never buy an MSI product again in my life. I'm very disappointed in them, I've never experienced anything like that. I've been a fan of MSI, I've bought various products from them, the last being a gaming motherboard I bought five years ago. (x99a games 7) The motherboard gave me BIOS problems and I had to pay $50 to send it to their RMA repair center. The motherboard came fixed, all the problems went away, and now it's been almost 6 years and it's still great. So I gave MSI a second chance and see what happens.
