This valve was purchased to replace an old outside faucet that was at least 40 years old. The old faucet dripped, whether it was open or closed. The hardest part of the installation was removing the old bushing. A few turns of Teflon tape and screwing in the new valve was no problem. To my delight, there was no leak at all. I like the quality of the ball valve. Half turn fully open. Another half turn is fully closed. The valve works smoothly. The red valve cover adds sharpness. Quality is always valued and not easy to find.
