Review on 🐶 Optimized Outward Hound Dog Life Jacket by Anna Kaye

I have four dogs (pictured) and my mum has a Sharpei and my grandmother has a German Shepherd. All six dogs range in weight from 45 to 130 pounds and this jacket fits them all perfectly. The only difference between large and extra large is the length of the straps. The actual "jackets" part is the same size (and made out of the same foam and everything else). These straps are very long and fit almost all medium to large sized breeds. Yes, the velcro will slip, but putting on your jacket CORRECTLY will greatly reduce the risk of parts of the velcro slipping. You want this jacket to fit snugly, not loosely. To keep them from shifting, I've attached some photos showing some "hacks" on how I stopped them from moving completely. The handles can't pull your big dog out of the water. The latches will break if your dog is over 50 pounds and you try to pull him out of the water. These life jackets are more like towed life jackets, where your dog can pull you through the water. Sometimes you see exactly the same style in water rescue dogs. At $13, this is the best money can buy. The photos show the first neck pillow. All dogs had to wear this part of the neck because it was too loose. Velcro on one piece BEHIND the pillow and it doesn't move and is comfortable. The second picture (the part of the belly where my hand is not in the photo) is how I had to do the velcro for four dogs. Fasten the velcro on one side behind the first sewn part and it doesn't move. The third picture (the animal part with my hand) is how I had to make it for the smallest pup. Attach the velcro on one side behind the first sewn part, then attach the second part of the velcro to the first velcro. You can make it a lot smaller by skipping the second sewn piece if you have a much smaller pup. All other photos just show my dogs carrying them around the house and having fun.
