We use our grater a lot so I decided to buy a second one. It seemed pretty good. The first issue is that it doesn't fit on the top shelf of my dishwasher, but that's fine. I put it on the bottom shelf and everything is fine. But then I realized that the dimensions of the grid are too big! The large size is suitable for cheese, but larger than you want for some vegetables. But the real disappointment is the small grater. I grate the carrots very finely to add them to the red spaghetti sauce. It disappears into the sauce and provides additional nutrients. But the small size of this grater is too big for that. The carrot doesn't go away, which makes it pretty weird. So we still use this type for cheese, but sometimes I have to hand wash my original grater when I need a smaller size. Not very comfortable. At this point it seems fairly durable and as easy to use as any grater.
