Review on Lenovo ThinkPad Professional E248W (Model 40AF0135US) by Peter Vizitei

I didn't see many detailed reviews, but I took a chance and bought a refurbished device. Almost everything works great! I was looking for a dock that would support multiple generations of Thinkpad laptops (T480, T460, T450), Dell desktops and LG ultrawide monitors. Only the T480 and LG monitor support USB-C, other systems support USB-A 3.0. Note that the T450 and Dell systems are not listed as supported but worked. Physical Connections: I used a Lenovo USB-C/A cable to connect laptops and Dell to the docking station. Now all I need is one cable for power, video, audio, mouse, keyboard and internet connection to each laptop! Windows 10 Lenovo Drivers - Thinkpad Hybrid USB-C/A drivers will be installed automatically. Be sure to update your drivers for optimal performance. My internet connection has improved 10x with updated drivers. The overall impression is that I am delighted with the Lenovo hybrid docking station. The result is an aesthetic solution where only one cable is needed to connect different computers and the docking station and cables can be hidden behind the monitor. In addition, system performance was excellent after updating the drivers. I highly recommend this dock.
