Review on Instapark Bright Yellow Flashing Battery by Chuck Derrick

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Scarce but not profitable

Pros and Cons: Nice looks, affordable batteries, easy device installation, fairly loud alarm; and the overall performance was good. Unfortunately, the average life of 7-8 weeks with 3 new US made batteries in each device - with no low battery alarms - is totally unacceptable. The electrical engineering does not meet today's standards. Batteries should last much longer. My installations were under sinks and behind access hatches where leaks would occur in the first place, so I wasn't inclined to drill holes in vanity tops, panels, walls and cabinets to expose control modules to more effectively control the flashing low light. battery charge. device signals. So what I got under the sink and such was a very nasty low battery alarm sometimes when we were sleeping at night. I have now removed the batteries and unplugged all four units but left them in place in case I am particularly concerned about the condition of my wiring. In this case, I reactivate very selectively and as briefly as possible. Incidentally, the sensors in my setups were placed on dry, non-conductive surfaces that had no potential for energy leaks that could reduce battery life. I would recommend the manufacturer to redesign the product so that the batteries can also be replaced with a calendar, with a lifespan of at least 6 months plus a couple of buffer weeks before the device sends a low battery alert.
