Review on πŸ’‘ Moen 169031 MotionSense Faucet AC Adapter: A Convenient Service Kit for Moen Kitchen Faucets by Tyson Burch

Revainrating 4 out of 5

GREAT IDEA IN CASE OF A BREAKDOWN

If you have a Moen faucet that is controlled by touch or hand movements via a sensor, you need this adapter. The problem with these electronic faucets is that you lose power and your sensor stops working. This adapter contains 4 AA batteries. So if you lose power, the batteries will work to control the faucet. It has a green LED that shows your system has power and the batteries are good. What confuses me is why Moen doesn't include this when buying a fairly expensive faucet? So some people might not need a backup battery, but isn't that a good idea for someone buying an electronic faucet? So far it seems to be working fine. The only issue I had, or should I say my contractor, was hooking up to my faucet as it was next to my sink. My faucet sits entirely in the left corner of the sink, and it was difficult to get to all the cords when trying to work under the cramped under-sink kitchen cabinetry. It's always uncomfortable to work under the sink because of the crampedness, but my contractor (after much moaning and groaning) installed it and now it works as expected,
