My creative 13 year old wanted this for Christmas. She's been using it every day since then and LOVES it. She said you can use regular paper so you don't need to buy special tracing paper to use it. It's AMAZING for something like this. We received a thin model so I gave it 5 stars for its thickness. although this question is ambiguous! I wouldn't trust that to a rude kid. You must be careful with him and take care of him. It's well made but clearly fragile in nature. However, with supervision, it can be used by a child of any age.
