Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I was looking for a laptop for work, with a powerful filling, a high-quality screen, an adequate keyboard (!), an all-aluminum case, a laconic design, and at the same time not a poppy. Ten years ago I was looking for and did not find this particular laptop). Consciously took the fattest package with a weak video card. I am a programmer, so there are high demands on the keyboard. She is head and shoulders above the neighbors on the counter, and yet, there are moments. It is a pity that there is no break button. The power key would be swapped with delete. Some more keys were programmatically swapped, and it became good. The sound is good for a laptop. I recommend unequivocally, all the mentioned shortcomings are considered nit-picking.

Pros
  • Screen. Wide color gamut draws attention at first sight. Keyboard. It does not flex a millimeter in the middle and is very comfortable. Large comfortable keys, the correct form, with a pleasant move. No useless numpad, competent layout of additional keys. Frame. It is all-metal, it is pleasant to take in hands. Decent stuffing, while quiet. Battery. Holds for a long time without load. Touchpad. Large, comfortable, largely replaces the mouse. Gestures are very functional, they work perfectly. Inside is a slot for installing a second drive.
Cons
  • Everything, in general, is cool, but there are a few little things that follow from the merits. Screen. There are some minor screen glare. Noticed only in the dark on a black screen at the beginning of the film. In bright light, sometimes there is not enough brightness. Keyboard. The backlight breaks out from under the keys, slightly spoiling the noble look. The fingerprint sensor did not work for me, despite all the efforts and dancing with the drivers. Most likely, reinstalling the system would help. But I don't really need him, he quit. The memory is soldered on the board, the upgrade is not possible. Islanded sides of the hull. The included charging cable is short, only 1.5m. Quality 3m cable is expensive. The series does not have the same laptop in 17" size)
