Review on Del Rossa Lightweight A0720BRGLG Alexander by Pedro Hague

My husband has always liked my satin robes and underwear. So I decided to give him his own silk robe. We looked at several styles and he liked this one the most. He is only 5 feet 8 inches tall. So this robe is long on him. But he likes it when he is. It's just above the ankles. it's a true navy blue. It's not light blue. The dressing gown is sewn well, all seams are sewn correctly. I noticed that a previous reviewer mentioned that the robe doesn't stay in place well because it's satin. Unless you buy one that's buttoned up or taped to a flannel or fleece coat. Honestly I don't understand the star deduction for what to expect. It is unfair to me when a buyer penalizes an item because the item does not meet unrealistic expectations. SMH! Anyway, my husband loves this robe. He has a tie inside in addition to a belt. Like any other satin bathrobe that wraps up, it doesn't stay tightly closed on its own. You'll have to adjust it if you're active, but if you're looking for a soft silk coat that you can relax in comfortably, I recommend this one. I find it much nicer than my husband's old winter coat. He didn't like wearing the old one because it was heavy and too warm. He has worn it every night since arriving except the first night because I washed it. FYI: I put it in a laundry bag and washed it on the gentle cycle with a few other clothes. I hung it to dry like I do with delicate items. The color didn't bleed and the bathrobe didn't wrinkle, although my washing machine spins so fast that most laundry needs to be ironed after washing. These are energy saving washing machines for you. Anyway my husband is happy with his new clothes and I am happy with his new clothes.
