This scanner was purchased because my HP Envy's scanner broke (planned obsolescence). So far it's been ok. You have to run an item through to scan it (as opposed to a broken one), and he doesn't like thick items. It took some effort and even a call to a technician to set it up, but now when I submit an item for scanning, my desktop computer recognizes and processes it automatically. I use the macro function of my Samsung Galaxy camera to provide copies of objects that I cannot use the scanner for, e.g. B. the photo page in my passport.
