I've been looking for a good bread pan for a long time. All pans I've bought from stores to date have resulted in overcooked/hard bottoms and sides. This OXO bread pan had great reviews and a unique bottom design, so I decided to give it a try. I just used my bread pan to make Banana Nut Bread for the first time and I was amazed at how good it came out! The crust rose and browned perfectly without burning the sides or bottom. My husband said the bread tasted buttery and delicious. Wonderful! Check out the picture to see what my Banana Nut Bread looked like after it was baked and started to cool on the cooling rack. I was a bit skeptical about cleaning as I saw another buyer complain that the floor design was difficult. However, I found it easy to do with a washcloth (safe for non-stick pans). I see how it can be more difficult with a regular sponge. There was only a thin layer of breadcrumbs on the sides and bottom after removing my bread (it fell out instantly just by turning the pan upside down and giving it a gentle shake) and the bread pan was spotlessly clean after cleaning. Keep trying more recipes and know that my days of burnt bread are hopefully over. As instructed in the instructions, pay attention to the cooking process as this pan cooks more efficiently and evenly. Conclusion: buy this pan!
