I am a BMW enthusiast, I have had several BMWs and I can honestly say that this PCV works. I currently own a BMW Z4 (e85) and have had a very severe smoking problem; It turns out that the old PCV leaked oil into the intake manifold and burned the oil in the combustion chamber. This solved my problem, but note this: some clips on the house don't fully engage! The hose that connects to the valve cover is not fully engaged. I noticed that the clamp is only microns larger than the stock hose; and even when I pushed hard it still didn't go in. That doesn't mean it doesn't work because I've been driving the car since I installed it and the hose is still on the valve cover. So if you want to save some money and get your car back on the road, don't be afraid to buy this. take it slow
