Review on 🌈 Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit Kaleidoscope: Vibrant 12-Color Tie Dye Experience by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful starter kit, the main thing is patience!

Buying this kit was a breeze as I was looking for an easy kit with lots of color options that is reasonably priced. I'm including a few tips to help your colors pop and stay fresh wash after wash. For coloring, take organic urea nitrogen and soda ash. Both can be found here on Revain under the Jacquard brand. Dick Bleek has both items at a significantly lower price, but I wanted everything delivered immediately so I ordered everything from Revain! Step 1: Add two cups of soda ash to two gallons of warm water and dissolve. Be careful with this step as the fumes can be quite corrosive. WEAR GLOVES. Soda is very drying on your hands and just not comfortable. Place the items you want to paint in the water and soda mixture and let sit for about an hour, making sure the items are completely "soaked". Step 2: Since the dye comes in 12 4-ounce bottles, add just half a tablespoon of organic urea nitrogen to the dye powder before filling with warm water and shaking! shake it! Shake it right, y'all! Now your paint bottles are full, your clothes are soaked and your knees are shaking because you are ready to paint! Wring excess water out of your clothes and choose your design. This set includes paper with different designs, but YouTube is a great place to get ideas! Well, if you're a size larger than a large men's shirt, I recommend the sunburst design as it requires significantly less color. cover and soak. Small items like socks and underwear look much better with a tie-dye technique. As you can see in my photos. Finally you painted all things! Use plastic bags or plastic wrap to wrap them individually, never put two dyed items together, otherwise the colors will run into each other. COLD water and wash with delicate, cold water! Dry as you like! I hung mine out to dry.
