I've used them on cars, boats, RV's and storage trailers. The device works with a solar panel with an output of up to 45 watts. Keeps batteries fully charged and can even charge them with just sunlight. The construction is great, solid and reliable. Rather, they should be shielded spade lugs to allow regular items such as SAE fittings to connect directly and securely. After you strip the wire, crimp the connector and screw it in, the tops of the screws are still exposed and subject to arcing/shorting. Easy to attach with tape but it looks awful and the residue stays there forever. when the tape is removed or erased.
