I am very impressed with the finish and overall quality of this faucet. I usually expect a cheap chrome item to have some roughness or even flaking chrome, but I don't see anything like that here. All components appear to be of good quality. I swapped the hoses for the standard 3/16". It wasn't difficult, but I was careful and took my time not to damage the beautiful finish. As another reviewer said, the cap should come loose, but mine did went easily.If it didn't the cap would be accessible from the inside so I would stick a wooden peg (broom sized) through the turret and tap it gently.provided a wrench to remove the roosters from the turret and guided a hose through the fittings I was then able to work with hose fittings detached from the tower their kegerator or bar.
