Hoping it was a secret, I tried. This time it lasted about 12 hours and then dropped off again. After sending by email. The company advised me to soak the suction cup in hot water for about 15 minutes, then leave it slightly damp and apply to the surface, squeezing out any air bubbles. Put on the silver cap, hook and screw-on top. Come back to redo a few times. Following these directions I believe it is permanent - 36 hours have passed without any sign of relief.
