XP SP3 works well with network adapters
I don't know what environment other people use. I have a Dell 8250 (old tower) with Windows XP Home SP3. I had no luck with another model board so I was suspicious of this one and didn't install all of the software. My steps were: 1. Create a system restore point2. Download the latest drivers from the D-Link website (version 1.20 in [.]) as I write this.3. Turn off the computer, install the card, turn on the computer again.4. In the Found New Hardware Wizard, point to the downloaded drivers.5. Look, everything works fine! He immediately saw that my wireless network was working with WPA2 and connected. I have excellent speed and no processor issues.
