I read some reviews on other products and ran into the same problem, they work quite well for the first week or so, and after a few weeks the clothes start smelling stinky and musty and sour. I even recharged them as advertised after only two weeks in the sun and it didn't change the outcome. In the end I sent it back very disappointed, I was looking forward to this work! I have an energy efficient front loading washing machine and I feel like a top loading washing machine that uses a lot more water could work better.
