Solid in stormy seas.

I was hesitant to buy this for my boat. I needed something to hold my phone in rough water. Given the RAM mount's reputation for excellent quality, I bought it. First, it keeps my Galaxy S7 in Otterbox Defender. (Very tight) I have to insert the phone from above. And it can only grip the bottom half of the phone, otherwise it would touch the side buttons on both sides. I was at sea the other day, I swear I lost some fillings in my teeth. The X-grip held the phone firmly, didn't slip at all. Firmly.
