The battery life is impressive, we can charge it and use it for several nights before having to charge it again even though we only use it for a short time. Projection quality is very good, just wish they had more than a few slides. It should also be noted that there is film on each of the slides that needs to be removed to get rid of the blur that others are talking about. It's a bit tricky as there is no help tab and they don't mention it in the instructions. We only use it for about an hour each night (I always turn it off), but the last few times we've used it I've noticed that you hear a whining noise as it spins. Not sure what is the reason, at first I thought our dog was outside my son's room, upset that he couldn't get in. it will stop working soon.
