I bought the more expensive Enhanced Pellets because I have two cats. I like this toilet system but thought maybe these upgraded ones would be better. I don't see any difference between regular pellets and these so it was a waste of money. They look exactly the same, work exactly like the originals, so I have no idea what needs improvement about them other than the cost. The padding is a bit thicker than the original, but still not thick enough for me. I have to change it every other day and my cats have not had any issues that cause them to pee more than normal. I don't understand why nobody makes a pad twice as thick as this one. It definitely fits in the drawer. Again, I love the system, but I'm deducting a star for these new pellets that make no difference except to your wallet.
