These are not puppies but for half the price I should have tried and was not disappointed. I have a 2014 Honda CB1100 and through a previous purchase of puppies for my cruiser I have learned how to simplify the installation. I filled a bowl with very hot water and lots of dish soap (no need to overdo it) and let them soak for 15 minutes, which softens them up a bit. I took a long screwdriver to pry the end of the handle over the end of the rod and it slid right in. I used a towel to squeeze out the excess water and within an hour they were set and dry. They are only slightly thinner than puppies, but hardly noticeable. I have big hands and the stock grips on my CB 1100 are small so they have worked great for me as not only are they bigger and feel more comfortable, they also provide a better grip and reduce some of the normal engine vibration. I would definitely buy them again. .
