I've never used my hydroflask to heat drinks, but I use it every day to keep the water cold. I live in a hot Arizona desert, and even in that climate, I still have cold water at the end of the day. I carry this hydroflask with me everywhere and my kids love drinking my water all day too. I have 40 ounces. Sized so it will hold plenty and most of the time if the ice still hasn't melted I can just pour in room temperature water and it gets and stays cold instantly. Kids have dropped this thing on concrete, brick, tarmac and more with only minor dents where it happened, so it's incredibly durable. I really like the Hydroflask and carry it with me everywhere.
