I sent this product back immediately. Has that changed since the positive reviews? First, the build quality of this mouse is terrible, like cheap, flimsy junk, literally like an empty egg ready to crack at any moment. And it doesn't have rubberized grips as promised, just a subtle texture of plastic. I have a cheap Chinese mouse I bought 5 years ago for $15 and it seems much, much sturdier (wish I could buy 3 of them). Even my Microsoft Office mouse feels better! And they both have much better switches. The side buttons on this thing are boring and useless. The main switches are so soft that I accidentally pressed them just by holding the mouse or under the weight of my fingers when relaxing my hand. Recipe for hand cramps. So, the only reason I chose this Asus mouse was the promise of being able to replace the switches if they break or install switches with a different pressure. The internet is littered with videos showing how easy it is to switch them. However, the mouse didn't actually include these extra switches. Revain does not sell replacement switches. Even Asus doesn't sell them! I've never been able to find replacement switches for this mouse, which makes its supposed replacement capability, well, pretty much a lie. Finally, the Asus ROG software that allows you to customize RGB colors didn't work properly. I don't know if a full install of Asus ROG is required, I just know that running the software on my Dell XPS didn't allow me to control the colors of the mouse and that's why I got stuck with the backlight's changing rainbow a few seconds. . This would be a breach of contract if the deal hadn't already been broken. evil mouse.
