This massage/heating pad has different heating and massage options as well as variations in massage types. It has so-called zones. There are preset buttons as well as buttons to turn off certain zones (e.g. the neck massager can be turned off if you don't want it to turn on when other zones are turned on). The seat can sometimes get a bit uncomfortable if you sit on it for too long, even with the massage turned off. We bought this for my 78 year old mother who has severe back arthritis. She enjoys massage and warmth. But she cannot sit on it for long. Its shape and construction is not conducive to prolonged sitting. The heat does not get as hot as with an electric heating pad. But it heats adequately and has different heating zones for you to choose from. This is not a massage cushion. One thing worries me. This company claims that their products come with a 100% coverage guarantee for 2 years. It instructs you to email the company upon receipt (within 30 days) with "Guarantee" in the header, and the card that came with the product lists their email address. It's been 3 weeks and I've sent 4 emails. You didn't reply to any of them. This lack of response leads me to believe that if something breaks on my mother's massage cushion within the next 2 years, it will be quite difficult to fix. You have not provided any warranty information other than sending an email to the address provided. I have attached a photo of my product purchase from Revain to every email. Overall, this is a pretty good massage pillow for my mom. When he becomes uncomfortable to sit on, she transplants him to another chair and removes him from the chair. It comes with a car adapter but I wouldn't recommend using it while driving. It shuts itself off automatically after that long and just distracts your attention from driving by trying to find the connected remote and then reprogramming it while driving down the road. I'm not sure but I think it turns itself off after 15-20 minutes of continuous use. I hope this helps anyone considering this purchase.
