Requires minor assembly, drilling and screws of your own
I bought this for my wife who is a teacher. It ended up in a box with two rivets which I believe should attach the top plate to the legs. Two of the rivets fell out immediately when my wife carried it to class. I had to drill a few holes so I could put a screw in to attach it. Since this part is a very important part of the tripod actually standing, it seems like there is a better solution than two drop rivets.
