I was looking for a sock to real filter transition and found this one that seemed to have decent reviews at a low price. I figured why don't you just give it a try. I have to say that the red color is the same as a typical clown nose, so not surprising since they are probably made of the same material. I've used a sock in the past that worked surprisingly well and I was happy with that, but I figured I should get something more visually appealing so I went for it. It works pretty much like a sock, so if you don't care about the aesthetics, just cut the sock off the sock and slip it over the mic. Four stars because I feel it could be a deeper, true red and work better. Another thing is that it flattens out, so there are creases on the foam. After a day, the creases begin to disappear and the foam retains the shape of the microphone. Overall, the foam fits the microphone very well and works as expected.
