Great if you want to stick a label on a bottle

There is a difference between loose and tight. roll size. crank size. The sign on the front says "Waste Label Area". There are many small operating devices that industrial machines can't afford that will do the job you would expect from a six-figure machine. Liquid dispensers, shrink wrapping and labeling machines. There are engineers, tool specialists, working very hard to create affordable devices for small businesses. Most use Ace hardware and bend some metal plates and even use a few custom parts, but most of the time they work as is: a bunch of well-intentioned bling that almost works. This is the case with this labeller. Lots of finished parts and plenty for a fellow handyman. It takes so much fiddling, trial and error that after countless attempts to apply a label straight or wrinkle/bubble free, you just push it away, look at all the labels you have wasted and end up applying them by hand . as it is much faster. In our case we make very small 1 ounce bottles and plastic labels that require a lot of tension to be applied properly or they will bubble or wrinkle. This device might fit large beer or wine bottles with thick paper, but it's not for our use, it's clunky, finicky at best, and doesn't hold parts well with all those hardware store parts. It always needs fine tuning. The more you pinch, the more likely the labels will stick crooked or not get on the bottle at all. I think it's a noble endeavor, and it may work for its creator, but not for us. We're no bunglers and we know precision equipment, but it's not precision equipment. We really hoped so. Now it's an $800 doorstop with a "not for use" label.
