Ice water stays cold for at least 10 hours when it's hot. One morning I put four ice cubes and water in a bobble container and took it to the car on the way to work. I accidentally left it in my car at the train station on my way to work. When I returned to my car ten hours later, which had been sitting in the 90 degree sun, my water was still refreshingly cold. The ice cubes melted (as to be expected) but the water was still very cold. What a treat on a hot summer day.
