Do not use with Purigen, although Seachem recommends it.
Seachem is verbatim saying these pages are to be used with Purigen and it is being phased out as others have said. I'm sure it will work fine with a larger filter media, but don't buy this if you need a Purigen bag. The holes are much larger than 180 microns.
