Great creamy concealer for the price!

NYX is a GREAT concealer, especially for the price. It has a perfectly creamy texture with medium coverage. It's not watery or thick. I use it to conceal dark circles under my eyes and redness/blemishes on my face. When using this concealer I don't feel the need to apply additional foundation. A little powder on top and you're good to go. I currently have 5 shades and have tried multiple tubes of each shade since discovering this concealer a few years ago. I'll start by choosing a shade because I'm sure that's why so many people read reviews. . I have a cool skin tone and have found 4 shades that suit me whether I'm pale or tanned. In my opinion, this is a breakdown by shade for each concealer: 01 Porcelain and 02 Light are neutral shades. 03 light and 05 medium are cold peach tones. 04 beige - warm shade of yellow, 06 glow - warm shade of orange. I haven't tried dark ones yet. I've posted photos of the shades I currently have as well as swatches to help anyone else having trouble picking a color. Remember that for these swatches I applied concealer on paper, but in real life the shades look much lighter when blended. For the eyes, I apply 3 or 4 dots of concealer a shade lighter than my skin tone, blot with a clean fingertip and allow to dry halfway. At this point it will look sticky/not mixed at all, this is normal. When it's half dry I use a damp cosmetic sponge and blend it in completely. I get a much better, smoother finish using this technique. If you try to blend it while it's still completely wet, you'll wipe off the entire coverage. If you don't mix at all, you end up with a cake. It is also recommended to use fixing powder over it to keep it from rolling. For redness, I prefer to use a shade that either matches my skin tone or is a little darker paired with a green color corrector. Green is really that important! I blend two shades on the back of my hand - a hint of skin tone plus a tiny dot of green. It will look spooky on your hand, but once it covers up the redness, it neutralizes it perfectly. Again, I prefer to let it dry a bit before attempting to fade it out. I have normal/dry skin and can last half a day with this concealer that still looks great. It wrinkles and rubs a bit but doesn't get as rough as other brands I've tried. It probably also depends a lot on whether your skin is oily, normal or dry and what the weather is like that day. Volume. All in all, I definitely recommend this concealer to everyone.
