Review on GBYAN by Gary Perry

A Big Letdown for Newcomers; abbreviated GBYAN

I was thrilled to learn about GBYAN and eager to peruse their website. For someone like me, who is just starting out in the kitchen, the company's claim that it is "a lifestyle brand committed to helping consumers lead fulfilling lives" seemed like an ideal fit. Unfortunately, working with GBYAN was not a positive experience for me. I had a hard time finding what I needed on their website because of the confusion and poor layout. I spent a lot of time on the website, but I still couldn't find the goods that were right for my experience level. I attempted to contact customer support for assistance, but they were unreachable and unhelpful. My uncertainty and annoyance were compounded by their inability to clarify matters or offer assistance. The quality of the goods was also subpar. Since I'm just starting out in the kitchen, I assumed their goods would be suitable for amateur cooks like myself. The goods were well made, but beyond my technical abilities. In general, GBYAN is not something I would suggest to someone who is just starting out in the kitchen. Their dedication to helping customers live happier, more productive lives is admirable, but their website and offerings are not great for newcomers. Don't bother, and go elsewhere until they start stocking products at your degree of expertise.

Pros
  • Absolutely Stunning!
Cons
  • Inconsistent quality control of the final output.
