Review on ViewSonic VX2235WM 22-inch Wide Monitor: Crisp 1680X1050 Resolution on a Wide Screen by Colin Clarke

I bought this from Costco and not Revain because they had a price that was "too good to be true". And it was! Unfortunately, this screen wasn't the starting point for anyone involved in digital imaging or critical review. I am very happy with my Viewsonic VX900 19 inch screen and was hoping to get the same picture quality with a larger desktop. The problem with this VX2235, on my screen at least, was very uneven lighting from top to bottom and from the side. Of course, no LCD is perfect, and many hardcore graphic artists use CRTs for critical work. But mine is an old and still the current monitor has a very consistent brightness unless you're looking at it from a sharp angle, the VX2235 had a problem with the sharp display. I got my monitor back after just one day.
