I love these lights! If a glass lamp falls from the roof onto the sidewalk, the glass breaks. Not these lamps, because they are not made of glass but of impact-resistant acrylic! If the fairy lights hit your stairs or sidewalk, it may scratch it, but it won't break! When it's on, the colors are nice except for the blue lights. They are so blue they are almost purple. I believe this is because the light uses a blue LED and a blue acrylic bulb. On other colors it adds color, but on blue bulbs it looks weird and out of place. *********************** **************** UPDATE: I think the industry has learned its lesson . Now the blue lights actually look blue instead of purple! **************************************** ** We've all seen this before with other LED garlands. I believe this can be fixed by simply using a warm white LED instead of a blue LED in the dome light. With C9 string lights becoming increasingly difficult to find commercially and manufacturers using inferior materials, it is not a good idea to buy these lights all the time. . With these commercial quality LED light bulbs and string lights, I don't have to worry about my outdoor Christmas lights. To use them as a spare, I plan on keeping an extra set of 25 bulbs. So the lights will always look the same in the future.
