I went back to buy my second Glodeals Almond Blossom Van Gough printed umbrella/parasol. There were compliments on how beautiful it is and whether or not he got burned doing it. I agree with the other reviewer who found it hard to close. Please read and study the instructions in the opening and closing description. It opens and closes with a simple push of an up or down button on the handle. Once the roof is down (and the umbrella is partially closed) I have to press the center of the top against the wall and then push the handle forward to close it completely. It is compact enough to be carried in a large bag or large bag. Now that I understand how to work with it, I expect it to last for many years. It also works very well in the rain.
