Review on ASUS PRIME B250M LGA1151 Motherboard by Micha Osiski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

Bought for i3-7100. Prots decided immediately. Memory Kingston DDR4 8 GB / 2400 - first determined at a frequency of 2133, after ating the BIOS, it switched to 2400 without any problems. Dual-channel mode. I really liked the settings in the BIOS. 2022 is a fully understandable language. Convenient configuration of the processor and case fan (both by RWM and by voltage, it is convenient if the fan is 3-pin). 6 SATA III ports and an M2 port - decent for the price. Raw software included, a lot of extra. The description of the software is very, very abbreviated, so at first I had to put it in, understand what it is, understand that almost everything is for $ and delete it. It is better to download drivers directly from the site. Plenty of USB 3.0 (3.1) ports I was pleased with the built-in sound - better than I had (previous board MSI-ZH77AG41), cod, hiss, no extraneous noise (I checked on the Pioneer 1000 ears, Microlab speakers) Also, a very important point for fans of video encoding: you can simultaneously enable the integrated Intel graphics (up to 1 GB from the RAM) and a discrete card in the BIOS. According to reviews of 7 generations of intel, this speeds up the video processing process. Turned on, it works. No RAID, but I don't need one.

Pros
  • compact 6th and 7th generation processors M2 Built-in sound Simultaneous operation of integrated and discrete graphics
Cons
  • no RAID standard software 1 case fan header
