I bought the same 12v cigarette extender from a retail store over 8 years ago. Executed flawlessly. I decided to buy a few more and couldn't find it in stores although I did find it through Revain. received promptly. One of two received defective. Hassle-free returns through Revain. The second started blowing the internal fuse whenever I put something in the cigarette adapter. Now both fuses are blowing, no matter which car. These devices may look similar to the original Bell devices but are constructed differently as the cord is shorter and slightly thinner and cannot withstand prolonged use without failure. I bought it because it's one of the few on the market with a power switch as my Ford cigarette lighter adapter doesn't turn off when the ignition is turned on. However, due to the poor quality and build quality, I would not recommend this extension. I suspect Bell decided to build these things elsewhere to compare side by side with my original unit and the ones released by Revain may look the same but you can see the obvious cost reduction in both quality and price see the assembly. js.
