ordered db electricrcal because I have had good luck with other products they offer. It wasn't here. As soon as I installed this solenoid, the black cover came off exposing the innards of this solenoid. I thought I could still use it, but I was wrong. A week after installation, the solenoid was stuck in the CRANK position on takeoff. I turned the ignition off with the switch and removed the key and my bike STILL started. I had to hurry and disconnect the battery, but by then a minute had passed and my starter almost burned out. My wiring at the launcher got so hot it started smoking and the insulation melted. I tested my theory about this bad solenoid by cycling the bike on and off. Once the solenoid got stuck in the launch position I tapped it lightly and the launch stopped. I find that the solenoid worked fine for a week. The old solenoid just clicked until tapped with a tool. garbage
