Review on 🏍 Condor SCC-4000 Motorcycle Scooter Chock by James Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

500 pounds held. Roller is stable. I wouldn't want to attach it without that block.

Has held a 500lb scooter steady since I rolled it up at close range. I hitched a scooter to a UHual motorcycle trailer with built-in chocks without chocks, but I didn't like the angle of the bike. I received a Condor long leg rail for use in a UHual motorcycle trailer. This setup goes well with the built in stop in the trailer. The Condor chock doesn't slide into the trailer's built-in chock as hoped, but it's good enough. I was glad my legs were stretched out. But you may not need them because the front one slides about 1/4 inch on the sides of the trailer's built-in bumper. It's a really snug fit that's good for staying in place. The feet that come with the Condor last also fit; This may be enough (with your straps) to keep the Condor pad from tipping sideways. However, with wider legs, you'll feel much more confident not being able to pierce the trailer body. When the box arrives, the description on the sides is for a different product. But at one end of the box is a list of other products and yours will be checked. A rather strange way of saving on packaging. You won't want to leave a Condor lock in a rental trailer without a bike in it. The risk of being stolen is too great. For the Condor wheel chock and its large feet you will need a very sturdy holdall so you can pack the bag on your tractor. You will need a separate bag for the straps and bungee cords. I used a Canyon Dancer with Ancra straps, tie down straps and bungee cords (to take up strap slack) and DMM Zodiac Keylock carabiners with a wide end down. to keep the buckle closed (NOT the S-hooks on the straps). I also recommend cutting an old bike tire in two, one on each side of the ramp, or it will bang loudly against the trailer at every bump in the road. Leave enough free space in the front of the bike for the suspension to work. Otherwise you will have a noisy ride. It takes some faith in the wedge and canyon dancers. My 200 mile ride home was smoother than my ride from there because I had faith up until then.
