We are trying to teach our two almost three year old to swim, because it's always a good idea to teach them early about water safety and how to save themselves should an accident happen. This kickboard is helping him learn to stay afloat and how to kick his legs to propel himself through the water. It's made of thick durable materials that don't bend or break easy and is strong enough to hold my older boys weight up as well. It's sturdy and lightweight.
