Update 05/28/2019: I was contacted by the wonderful Dewalt customer service rep (Suzette) and found that I had sent the drill to a local repair shop and the switch burned out, so she didn't send me a new device out of the blue. This is impressive customer service and a great way to support their product. I understand things happen and hopefully this innovation will restore my high regard for Dewalt products just as Suzette's service restored my opinion of her customer service. Thank you Suzette! We bought this drill to replace a Milwaukee corded drill that we will use occasionally in our shop. It was used maybe 3-4 times a week until yesterday the drill stopped working and now only the little light works when the battery is connected. The trigger seems to have decided to expire. I am very disappointed with this tool, which is barely a year old (bought 04/18/2018, today 05/09/2019). Couldn't something be built to run for a decent amount of time? :sad face:
