I ordered these in the fall and didn't open them until the early part of December. After I "fluffed" them and freshened the branches with some re-arranging, they opened up beautifully. I planned to put them under the outdoor light fixtures on the columns on the front of the house. Instead, I put them on the window panels on either side of the front door, attached with a suction cup. When I set the light preference to continuous glow, they are stunning, turning on automatically in the evening. The lights glow clearly and brightly and compliment the wreath on the front door nicely. I recommend these for several possible uses in the winter. Good choice on my part.
