Review on 💧 Grundfos UPS15-58FC Circulator Pump – Efficient Red Pump for Superior Water Circulation by Patrick Pearson

Bought to have on hand if one of my existing circulating pumps failed. I just installed it but was surprised that one of the check valves had been removed and had a sticker on it advising that they had removed one of the check valves. I also had to turn the pump motor 180 degrees to get it flowing in the right direction. Something squeaks when pumping. Let's see if it disappears when used. UPDATE (4/30/19): I contacted the seller and he informed me that there should only be 1 check valve. If so, then a non-return valve was fitted, but after the pump was installed things got noisy and the noise level increased dramatically over the next 12 hours. I have since deactivated it and ordered a replacement. Let's see what the guarantee looks like.
