Because I didn't feel anything. Had to check twice to make sure it was cleaned up properly. If you bring it close to your nose, only then can you smell it. Otherwise, it's as if there were no air freshener in the car. And I asked others, and they didn't feel anything either. There is a chance that only this piece is bad. I can't say for sure. I won't spend any more money to try something else. You can get better air fresheners at gas stations for the price.
