They fit and work for Lawn Mower Parts & Accessories

This fits my LGT2554. There's something I don't know how many people do. The spindle is mounted at the top and bottom. The spindle shaft runs through these bearings, the pulley at the top and the blade at the bottom. You can fill grease into the spindle housing cavity through the top of the shaft. That's the problem. 2 bearings are sealed bearings. You can smear all you want with oil, but you're only smearing this emptiness. Seals on both sides prevent it from reaching the bearings. It belongs to this type of spindle, commercial heavy equipment is different. Next time you have bearing failure in one of your spindles, take it apart and you'll see what I'm talking about. Adding fat through the grain at the top of the spindle does nothing. Have you ever removed the seal from a sealed bearing? It's simple, a simple choice will work. You will see very little lubrication in most bearings. Hence the short lifespan. If you want a sealed bearing to last longer, you must add grease to the bearing. This can easily be done in a number of ways. If it is a rubber/plastic seal, carefully remove the seal from one side, add some lube and replace the seal. You can do the same with metal sealed bearings, just don't flex the seal. Both types of seals were simply slid into place after the bearing was made, they are flexible enough to be easily removed and replaced. Or you can poke a tiny hole in the seal and insert a grease needle to apply more grease. Seal the hole with silicone or something similar and your bearings will last a lot longer. There are brands that do better with the amount of lube used, but pretty much everything I've looked at should have had more lube. This applies to all sealed bearings, not just the bearings used in these spindles. If you want to rebuild these spindles, like I will do with the OEM spindle, the top bearing on one of the three spindles (purchased from Revain) didn't last a full year, 6203-2RS is the top bearing, 6204.-2RS is the lower camp. As long as the shaft and spindle housing are in good condition, there is nothing wrong with overhauling them. Both camps together cost around $5, more or less, and can easily be found online or locally as it's a regular camp, nothing special. As for this item, it fits and works, we'll see how long it lasts, but it should be similar to the OEM. It comes with the 4 bolts required to attach the spindle to the cutter deck, a pulley nut and a gasket that fits under the pulley.
