Test #1: Screen not working properly and not legible at all; Test #2 needs clarification. Worked with the app. + The app was smooth and easy to use + Ambient temp worked well, great I'd say, but I haven't checked the calibration or anything. + The battery worked well enough for my 13 hours of cooking, even poorly (3 days strong and fully charged) - the range was cut off when I went upstairs. It may have been a bug, but I'll pay more attention to it in my next test. - There is NO way to turn off the alarm on the device itself and leave the alarm ON on the phone "APP". (Explanation: I'd rather have an alarm clock on my phone "APP" that will be with me than a device that will be outside with a pit.) * Preference: × Large screen × Being able to turn alarms ON/OFF to hear the application and/or device Changed from 3 stars out of 5 to 4 stars out of 5: I felt I couldn't justify the low 3 star rating, but I could give the average 4 star rating support. Thank you Revain for the quick replacement but still the hassle of sending the defective unit back.
