Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Transcend 8GB SDHC Memory Card Premium Class 10 UHS-I Pack of 5 TS8GSDU1 - Top Value Bundle by Dimitar Borisov แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

It was discovered that an 8Gb class 10 card was quicker than a comparable class 6 card. There were many reports that said that the Transcend pace for students in the tenth grade is roughly equivalent to that of students in the sixth grade, if not less. Additionally, they claim that there are several packets, both paper and plastic, where it is stated that they will be packaged in 2022. Generally speaking, the Taiwanese maker of the plastic box I had was standard. Prior to then, I solely used Transcends, and everything about themโ€”price, speed, reliability (nothing has flown yet), and the older ones are still in good working orderโ€”satisfied me. After making the purchase, I first decided to see what the testing software would reveal. According to HD Tune Pro, there was essentially no difference between 8Gb Transcend class 10 and class 6; class 10 only had a slightly faster write speed for large data blocks, which was still two to three times slower than class 6. BUT! It was tested in the f/ap-those connected via a USB connection with a flash drive inside as a drive since I use the card in an f/ap-those and there was no card reader there. Such outcomes were generally unsatisfactory, and the connecting interface was probably to blame. Since it is unknown how the camera writes there, I chose to examine the actual writing of various files to the card in real time. I plugged it into a laptop, which had a standard built-in card reader, and it recorded roughly 1.4 Gb of a sample of 1337 fairly large files (books, documents, archives, with sizes ranging from a few Mb to hundreds or more Mb, on average, and various PDFs and DJVUs of 20 to 50 Mb). The recording speed was more than twice as fast in the tenth grade! 7 min. 47 sec. vs 3 min. 40. 10th grade is awesome!

Pros
  • Quick: 5 years of warranty. Compact SD / MMC card readers from Transcend are available, making it simple to use a memory card as a high-speed flash drive that is also universal. It's true that I misplaced the card reader and a memory card. I consider getting a new one. Of course, you can put any card in there; Transcend is not required. Who has issues taking images and videos? It seems to be a f / ap-those, not a memory card. This is notably true of all Canon DSLRs in the lowest price range. I use a Pentax K-7 with the most recent firmware, which quickly and faultlessly saves a series of frames in RAV (maximum speed 5.2 frames per second, RAV 13-18 MB each - recording also depends on which memory buffer in f/ap-those), even when shooting in series of 20-30 frames, with a frequency of one frame every 0.5-1 sec. I shoot panoramas in this way, and everything is written normally even on class 6 cards. I set the 10th based on my own observations, and I didn't see any changes, probably only because there weren't any issues with speed:) Additionally, there were no breaks in full-HD video. If f / a writes slower on a new, faster card, it's probably time to update the f / firmware (and possibly the camera's hardware as well:)).
Cons
  • You require a card reader that won't slow down; only then is it wise to purchase a card of a higher class.
