I chose the 8" fin for my 10ft iSUP because it has 3 fins and doesn't need the larger 10" fin. Second, I plan on using a smaller fin so I can practice rowing in a straight line without changing sides often. Third, the shorter fin allows me to paddle in shallow water without hitting the bottom. When I received the fin it had no screw. I contacted the seller who sent me a fin screw the same day and apologized for the inconvenience although I told him I had ordered a replacement fin. This is an honest and responsible seller that I will support in the future.
